For the June 2003 issue of Vanity Fair, she was named as one the year's hot teen celebrity stars. In 2004 Vega finished filming two films: Sleepover and State's Evidence. She played an online bully in Lifetime's television movie Odd Girl Out the following year. In 2006, she starred in a television show in 2006 called Walkout. In 2007, she finished filming Remember the Daze which was only released in limited theatres. Repo was shot and completed. The Genetic Opera was released in 2008.
