Gemma arterton

Gemma Christina Arterton is an English actress known for her roles in film that include 'Quantum Of Solace', 'The Disappearance of Alice Creed' and 'Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters'. She was born in Gravesend, Kent, in Greater London. She made her debut in the industry after having studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and then made her debut on film with a supporting role on the comedy movie "St. Trinian's'. For the James Bond film Quantum of Solace that came out shortly afterwards, she played a minor role. It was a commercial success and got mostly favorable reviews. She then played the female lead in the action film 'Princess of Persia The Sands of Time'. In recent times, she was as a support role for the French"Orphan" film "Orphan". Arterton has been nominated for various awards during her career so far, one of which was she took home the Empire Award for the Best Newcomer for her role in the film 'Quantum Of Solace', and also the "Evening Standard Theatre Award' for her performance in the musical 'Made in Dagenham'.
